Everything in this reel is built from the finest materials available and incorporates Daiwa's top technology, gained from years of building great reels. For maximum strength and dead-on alignment, the frame and both sideplates are machined from solid barstock aluminum by some of the most advanced machining equipment in the world and the spool is cut from tough, lightweight aircraft aluminum. The drive train is completely supported by five Super Corrosion Resistant ball bearings and one instant anti-reverse roller bearing for smooth cranking. The precision gears are machine cut from top grade phosphor bronze and brass for long life and plenty of trouble-free cranking power. - Big diameter spool for frame size
